As the first Goddard School in Michigan, Kellie was so proud to build and open The Goddard School in Lake Orion in 2007. She has been a part of the Lake Orion/Rochester area her entire life and is committed to providing the highest quality preschool education for the children of her community. Kellie’s passion for educating and caring for children is prevalent the moment you enter her school. It also shows in her charitable work with local children’s charities that share her passion for the importance of high quality early childhood education. Kellie has a BA in Pre-law/Political Science and was also a collegiate tennis player. Her past entrepreneurial business background consisted of owning businesses in real estate, land development and construction.
Emily is the Director of Education. She has a Bachelor's degree in Family Studies from Central Michigan University. She has been with The Goddard School since 2009. She is always enthusiastic about working closely with parents to bring growth, discovery and significance to each child.
Amelia is always ready to support and help the families and children here at Goddard. She has her bachelor's degree in early childhood education from the University of Concordia Ann Arbor. Amelia also has 8 years of experience teaching and 1 year of Administration under her belt.
Ms. Alayna is the Lead Teacher in the PreK Classroom. She has been working with children since 2012. She is currently attending Oakland University to obtain a degree in Early Childhood Education. She believes that children have creative minds and thrive in a nurturing environment. Her favorite children's book is "Where's Spot?" by Eric Hill.
Ms. Ashley is the Lead Teacher in the Infant Classroom. she been working with children since 2009 and her favorite children's book is Brown Bear Brown Bear by Eric Carle. She loves reading books with the children and singing songs during music time!
Ms. Cody is the Lead Teacher in the First Steps classroom. She has been working as a childcare professional since 2007 and has her Child Development Associates. Cody is full of energy, ideas and has quickly proven herself to be an outstanding lead. She is loving, fun and brings much joy to the First Steps room.
Ms. Cynthia is our Spanish Resource Teacher! Cynthia visits our older classrooms three times a week and creates exciting lesson plans to assist the children in learning Spanish as a second language! Cynthia is a very creative person and brings an electric energy into the classroom when she visits which keeps children engaged during the entire lesson!
Ms. Karlie is the Lead teacher in the Toddler II classroom. She has been working as a childcare professional since 2013. She is attending Baker College to obtain her Early Childhood degree. She thinks all children are special and can learn from each other as well as their teachers.
Ms. Krista is the Lead teacher in the Toddler I classroom. She has her B.S. in Early Childhood Education and has been working as a childcare professional since 1998. She loves working with children because it is rewarding to see them learn something new everyday. Krista's creativity and passion to teach have helped to establish her as a great asset to our young toddler class.
Ms. Melissa is the lead teacher in the Pre-K classroom. She joined the Goddard School in 2014 and is currently attending OCC to obtain a degree in Early Childhood Development. She has a lot of fun energy and loves to engage the children in learning activities.
Ms. Michelle is the Lead Teacher in the Bridge classroom. She has been working with children since 1998 and is very excited to be part of The Goddard School team. Ms. Michelle has always loved children and feels teaching is one of the most rewarding jobs a person can have.
Ms. Abbey is an Assistant Teacher in the Preschool 2 Classroom. She has been working with children since 2020 and is full of energy! She loves to dance and sing with the kids to get their bodies moving!
Ms. Addison is an Assistant Teacher she started in 2025. She loves playing golf and coloring, her favorite children's book to read to the classroom is Green Eggs and Ham.
Ms. Amanda is an Assistant Teacher in the Preschool Classroom, she started at the Goddard School in 2024. She has her degree as a Radiology Technician. She likes to train at the gym. Her favorite children's book is "Clifford the Big Red Dog".
Ms. Ania is an Assistant Teacher in the Toddler 1 Classroom and has been working in the Early Childhood field since 2016. Ania is currently working towards her Early Childhood Credential and is eager to learn all she can to help in children's development. Her favorite children's book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar!
Ms. Anna is an Assistant Teacher in the Infant classroom and has been working in Early Childhood since 2022! she currently working towards her Early Childhood Credential. She enjoys dancing and being silly with the children while they listen to music and her favorite book to read in the classroom is “Bubble Bubbles!”
Miss Anna has worked in childcare since 2024. She loves to play guitar and her favorite book to read in the classroom to the kids is "The Day the Crayons Quit."
Ms. Bonnie is an Assistant Teacher; she started at The Goddard School in 2025. She has been working in childcare since 2018. Her Favorite children's book to read in the classroom is Green Eggs and Ham.
Mr. Daejaun is a Lead Teacher in the PreK Classroom Classroom! He has been working with children since 2021 and his favorite book to read in the classroom is "A What in the Well"!
Mr. David started an Assistant PreK Teacher in 2024. He went to Oakland Community College and Oakland University. His Hobbies include watching and playing sports, catching up with friends, and working out. His favorite children's book to read to the classroom is No David.
Ms. Dawn started at The Goddard School in 2024. She is a Lead Teacher in the Preschool 1 Classroom; she is continuing her Degree in Early Childhood Education. Her favorite hobby includes reading and kayaking. Dawn's favorite book to read to the class is "Giraffes Can't Dance".
Ms. Diana is an Assistant Teacher in the Bridge Classroom; she started at The Goddard School in 2025. Her favorite children's book to read to the classroom is The cat In The Hat.
Ms. Elizabeth is an Assistant Teacher in the Toddler 1 Classroom. She has been working with children since 2010. Her favorite activity to do with children is dancing to silly music!
Ms. Erin started as an assistant teacher in the First Steps classroom in 2024. She enjoys the company of children she loves watching them grow and discover. She is a mother of five, likes to crochet, paint, draw, and express herself creatively. Her Favorite book to read in class is Bubbles Bubbles by Kathi Appelt.
Ms. Hannah is the Lead Teacher in the Pre-K classroom. Hannah is working on bachelor's degree, in Early Childhood Education from Rochester College. She has been an Early Childhood Educator since 2014, and she joined the Goddard team in 2016. Hannah is a wonderful teacher; she brings great joy into the Pre-K program.
Mr. Isaiah is an Assistant Teacher in our Preschool 1 classroom He started at The Goddard School in 2025. His favorite children's book to read in the classroom is The Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
Ms. Jovi started at The Goddard School in 2025: she is an Assistant Teacher. She likes to sail on Lake Huron and go hiking. Her favorite Children's book is The Book with No Pictures.
Miss Kylie started at the Goddard School in 2024 and has several years of experience working with children. She is currently working towards her college degree in Social Work. Her favorite book to read with children is "Pete the Cat: I Love my White Shoes."
Ms. Lucila has been working in childcare since October of 2019 and has a CDA. She is an Assistant Teacher and loves to take walks in nature. Her favorite book to read in the classroom is I am a Bunny.
Ms. MaryAnne is an Assistant Teacher in the Toddler 1 Classroom and has been working with children since 2014. MaryAnne loves singing lullabies with the children and her brings a warm loving presence to every room she enters!

Miss Taylor is an Assistant Teacher in the PreK Classroom and has been working with children since 2012. Miss Taylor loves reading books with the children and her personal favorites are The Giving Tree and Pout Pout Fish!
Ms. Vandana is the Lead Teacher in the Preschool 2 Classroom. She has been working with children since 2004. She has her master's in arts and is currently working towards my Early Childhood Credential. Her favorite activity to do with children is play games outside!
Ms. Yecenia is currently a senior at Northwood University. She will be receiving her Bachelors Degree in Entrepreneurship. She has been in Early Childhood for about 3 years, starting with babysitting, and then went to her first center. She loves baking, cosmetology, and playing with her nieces. Her favorite childhood book to read is either "No David, No" or "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie."
